Disciples Of Jesus Christ Have Legal Authority Over Demons And All Other Unclean Spirits

Blessings to you, the readers of this page, in Jesus Christ our Lord. May He guide you and protect you always.

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." - Romans 10:17 (KJV)
This page cites scripture from the King James Bible to prove that true disciples of Christ have authority over unclean spirits of all kinds.
If you are already a Christian, you can have this authority, too, if you give yourself totally to Him and forgive everyone who has ever done you wrong in any way.
May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you as you walk with Him.
                   *            *            *

We Have Scriptural Authority To Exercise Power Over Unclean Spirits, In The Name Of Jesus Christ

If we are true disciples of Jesus Christ, He has given us the authority to exercise power over unclean spirits of all kinds, in His name. These include Satan, his demons, and the spirits of all the various sicknesses and diseases.
Printed below is an official notice, from us to them, declaring and explaining our authority over them, according to God.
Unclean spirits need to know that we have legitimate authority over them, from God.
"And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus
I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye?"
                 (Acts 19:15 KJV)

This notice explains it to them.

If you would like to participate with me in delivering people from unclean spirits, then I invite you to make this notice (below) your own, by removing my name and writing in *your* name on the third line.
WARNING: Make sure that all the statements apply to you, and be advised that there is real danger involved if you do not actually meet all the requirements regarding faith in Jesus and forgiveness.
                  *                *                *

NOTICE: TO ALL UNCLEAN SPIRITS

INCLUDING SATAN, HIS DEMONS, AND THE SPIRITS OF ALL THE VARIOUS SICKNESSES AND DISEASES

MY NAME IS BILL MCGINNIS. (Use your name here, if you choose to do so.)
I AM A TRUE DISCIPLE OF JESUS CHRIST. THEREFORE I HAVE SCRIPTURAL AUTHORITY TO EXERCISE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS OVER ALL UNCLEAN SPIRITS.
These unclean spirits include Satan, his demons, and the spirits of all the various sicknesses and diseases.

By myself, I am nothing but another guilty sinner, doomed to hell.
All the evil of mankind resides in me, and I know it from
    direct personal experience.

However, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, and
I have given myself totally and completely to Him, even to
death and beyond. I know for a certainty that He is Son of God,
raised from the dead to be my personal Saviour.

Also, and of great importance, I have completely forgiven
everyone of all their trespasses against me. And I continue
to forgive all who trespass against me, even as their trespasses
against me continue unrepented and unabated.

Therefore, His dying blood has given me new life in Him, and it
continues to cleanse me from all unrighteousness, even as I continue
    to sin.

So I stand before Him spotless in His eyes, worthy to be His disciple,
not through any merit of my own, but totally by His loving grace to
forgive me, according to my faith in Him and my forgiveness of others.

As His true disciple, I have power from Him over all unclean
spirits: specifically, to bind them, cast them out, and loose
whatever they have bound, in the name of Jesus, as the Holy
    Spirit leads me.

I can exercise this power over them in person, face to face,
or from any distance, by written or spoken words, addressed to
    them.

                 *            *           *

These scriptures confirm that I have this power over unclean spirits:
First, I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and I have met the conditions for salvation.
          John 3:16 (KJV)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.

          Romans 10:9 (KJV)

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
          shalt be saved.

Next, I am continuously forgiven of my sins, as they occur. Therefore at any moment I stand justified before God, by His grace, by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thus, I am a true disciple of Jesus.
When He forgives us, He forgives us completely, "as far as the east is from the west."

"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed
our transgressions from us." (Psalms 103:12 KJV)

He instructs us to forgive others again and again when they sin against us . . .
"Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my
brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times:
but, Until seventy times seven." (Matthew 18:21-22 KJV)

. . . and He will then forgive us the same way.
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly
                    Father will also forgive you:

"But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither
will your Father forgive your trespasses."

                               (Matthew 6:14-15 KJV)

We are dwelling in Christ, and He in us. His blood cleanses us from all sin, and makes us spotless before Him.

" . . . and the blood of Jesus Christ his son
cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7 KJV)

" . . . though your sins be as scarlet, they
             shall be white as snow . . . " (Isaiah 1:18 KJV)

Jesus gives His true disciples power over unclean spirits, including Satan, his demons, and the spirits of all the various illnesses and diseases.
First, He gave this power to His original twelve disciples.
            Matthew 10:1 (KJV)

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he
gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out,
and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of
            disease.

Matthew 10:8 (KJV) (Jesus to the twelve disciples)

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out
devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Then, He gave it to His appointed seventy people.
Luke 10:19 KJV (Jesus to His appointed seventy people)

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and
scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing
shall by any means hurt you.

Finally, He gives this authority to all His true disciples, those who stand blameless before Him, by His grace.
Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) (Power extended to new disciples)

             18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power
is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
             19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
                    of the Holy Ghost:
             20
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.

NOTE: Among the "all things whatsoever I
have commanded you" are included the
instructions to "heal the sick" and "cast out
devils" given in Matthew 10:8, above.

Mark 16:17-18 (KJV) (Power of believers to cast out demons)

       17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name
shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new
            tongues;
       18
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any
deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay
hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

This authority also includes the power to bind the unclean spirits and to loose whatever they have bound.
            Matthew 18:18 (KJV)

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth
shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Since it is the Lord's intention that we act against unclean spirits, He will make it possible for us to do so, even from a distance, just as Jesus did in the cases of The Nobleman's Son (John 4:46-53) and the Canaanite's Daughter (Matthew 15:22-28).
"For with God nothing shall be impossible."
              (Luke 1:37 KJV)

" . . . for with God all things are possible."
              (Mark 10:27 KJV)

May the Lord bless this presentation of His holy Word.

Copy of Martin Luther King's published original Letter From Birmingham City Jail - Public Domain.

Copy of Martin Luther King's published original Letter From Birmingham City Jail - Public Domain.
Download free and use however you please.
www.loveallpeople.org/birminghamjail.pdf

The "Letter From The Birmingham City Jail" was handwritten by Martin Luther King on April 16, 1963, then slipped out of the jail, turned over to his assistants on the outside, typed, copied, and widely disseminated to various organizations and individuals as an "open letter" in order to generate public support for Dr. King and his civil rights activities.
As an open letter, made available to the Public for publication without restriction, it of course immediately entered the Public Domain and was never thereafter eligible for copyright protection.

The first version of this letter was published with King's approval and encouragement, without copyright notice, in May of 1963 by the American Friends Service Committee. (Several other organizations and media also published the letter at about the same time.) This first version of the Letter is clearly in the Public Domain because the copright law in 1963 required that a copyright notice be placed on any publication in order to obtain copyright protection. Without the copyright notice, the publication immediately entered the Public Domain, where it now remains.
I have copied it as a .pdf file and posted it on the Internet at

www.loveallpeople.org/birminghamjail.pdf

You are invited to download this .pdf file and use it any way you choose.

At some later date, Dr. King revised this first version of the letter and created a second version -- a more polished version, with numerous minor changes -- which he then published, with copyright notice. It is this second version which is now widely available in books and on the Internet, with copyright now claimed by the heirs of the King estate. So this second version is protected by copyright, but that copyright does not apply to any of the first-version text which had already entered into the Public Domain, only those parts which were new to the second version. The second version shows a date of "April 16, 1963," in the text, but that is the date of the handwritten original Public Domain first version, not the date of the copyrighted second version.

I am now republishing this original Public Domain first version to the Internet; and I am keeping it in the Public Domain. I could have edited it, and written some comments, and placed my copyright notice on the whole thing, thereby inhibiting its free and open dissemination. Instead, I am encouraging all people to copy it freely, reprint it, repost it, discuss it, critique it, and share it with all people everywhere, as Dr. King originally intended forty-three years ago, when he wrote it in jail and freely turned it loose into the world.

NOTICE to anyone who seeks to claim copyright on this Public Domain speech: under the United States Code, 17-506(c), it is a Federal crime to fraudulently claim copyright on material you do not really own. For details, please see my page, False And Fraudulent Claims Of Copyright at . . .

The Basic Principles Of Customer Care

Compiled And Edited By Bill McGinnis

FIRST SOME DEFINITIONS, AS USED HERE:

YOU - means you, yourself, the reader of this page, whoever you may
be.
YOUR COMPANY - is any organization of which you are a part.
YOUR CUSTOMER - is any person who visits your company, either online
or in person, in order to obtain something from it.
CUSTOMER CARE - is how you treat your customers.

1. TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED IN THE SAME
SITUATION
This an application of the "The Golden Rule," our most important guideline
for dealing with other people, which is, "Treat Others As You Would Like
To Be Treated." This is the most important rule in all human
relationships, not just customer relationships. You can apply this rule to
almost any situation, and you will not be far wrong.

*******************************************************

2. LEARN TO SEE AND FEEL FROM YOUR CUSTOMER'S POINT OF VIEW.
You like it when the other person understands your point of view and can
see problems the way you see them. So do the same for your customer. Learn
to see and feel every situation from your customer's point of view. The
ability to do this is called "empathy," and it will help you in all kinds
of human relationships, not just customer relationships.

Learn to "laugh when they laugh and cry when they cry."

NOTE: For more about empathy, you can visit the free Christian Empathy
Training Website at =>
http://www.loveallpeople.org/empathytraininginstitute.html Please be
advised that this website does contain some religious content based on
Progressive Biblical Christianity. Employers should not require their
employees to use this link.

3. SMILE AND BE FRIENDLY.
You like it when people smile at you and behave in a friendly manner. So
do the same to your customers. It is an ancient Chinese proverb, that "the
shop owner must have a friendly face."

4. BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL
You like it when people are courteous and respectful to you. And you
dislike it when people are discourteous or rude to you. So be courteous
and respectful in all of your dealings with your customers.

5. IF POSSIBLE, LEARN AND REMEMBER YOUR CUSTOMER'S NAME, AND USE IT
FREQUENTLY.
You like it when other people remember and use your name. So do the same
for your customers.

6. DON'T ARGUE.
Arguments are very negative. They poison good human relationships. You
don't like it when someone argues with you. So don't argue with your
customers. And if you see an argument coming, take the appropriate steps
to avoid it before it causes any damage.

7. DON'T CRITICIZE OR EXPRESS DISSATISFACTION WITH YOUR CUSTOMER IN ANY
WAY.
Criticism builds hostility and bad attitudes. Criticism is poison to good
Customer Care. You don't like to be criticized; so don't criticize your
customers. They don't like it, either. And you won't help accomplish
anything good by criticizing. As your mother probably taught you, "If you
can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." But even better:
find something nice to say.

8. GIVE YOUR FULL ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY ARE TALKING.
You like it when people pay full attention to you when you are talking. So
do the same for your customers. Don't be half-trying to do something else,
or playing with your smartphone.

9. WHERE APPROPRIATE, TALK ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMER'S INTERESTS.
You like to have other people talk with you about your interests. So do
the same for them. Find out what things your customer is interested in,
and steer the conversation toward these things.

10. WHERE APPROPRIATE, ADMIT YOU MAY BE WRONG.
This idea is surprisingly powerful and useful!

Here's what to say, whenever there is a question as to a matter of fact:
"Now, I may be wrong about this. I frequently am wrong about things. But
this is the way it appears to me:" (And then state your beliefs.)

By admitting you may be wrong, and by admitting that you frequently are
wrong (You are, you know. We all are.), you encourage the other person to
admit that he, too, may be wrong! Then, with your egos out of the way, you
can both search objectively for the truth!

And if you really are wrong this time, it will be much less embarrassing
for you than if you had been stubbornly insisting that you were totally
right!

11. LET YOUR CUSTOMER DO MOST OF THE TALKING.
You like it when people let you do most of the talking. So do the same for
them. It won't hurt you, and you might learn something.

12. LET YOUR CUSTOMER TALK ABOUT HIMSELF.
You like to talk about yourself, don't you? We all like to talk about
ourselves! But restrain the urge, and let your customer talk about
himself, instead.

13. LET YOUR CUSTOMER TAKE THE CREDIT WHEN GOOD THINGS HAPPEN.
If something has worked out well, don't grab the credit for yourself, even
if you think you deserve it. Give it to your customer. Say, "It couldn't
have happened without you."

14. LET YOUR CUSTOMER SAVE FACE.
The expression "saving face" means to maintain dignity, or not to look
like an idiot or a worthless person. Sometimes people do things which make
them look like an idiot or a worthless person. If you can rescue your
customer in such a situation, and help him maintain his dignity, you have
done a very good thing.

And maybe someone will do the same for you some day, when you need it
most! "As you do, so shall it be done unto you."

15. REMEMBER: WHEN YOU ARE WITH A CUSTOMER, YOU ARE THE COMPANY TO HIM.
Your customer's opinion of your company may be based almost entirely on
his experience with you. So make that a good experience, to the best of
your ability.

16. HOLD YOURSELF TO HIGH AND NOBLE STANDARDS, AND EXPECT THE SAME FROM
OTHERS IN YOUR COMPANY.
People tend to live up to the expectations others have of them. If you
expect a lot from people, they tend to give what you expect. Likewise, if
you expect little from people, that is what they tend to give.
So act honestly yourself, and expect honesty from your co-workers; act
morally yourself, and expect morality from your co-workers; act fairly
yourself, and expect fairness from your co-workers. Be a good example to
them.

17. GO THE EXTRA MILE.
You are pleasantly surprised when other people do more for you than you
had asked or more than you had expected. So do the same for your customer:
"Go the extra mile," to be pleasant and helpful in all respects.

BLESSINGS TO YOU, AND BEST WISHES FOR YOU IN YOUR CUSTOMER CARE.
